Service price list:
Our NHS and private eye examinations are designed to assess overall eye health and correct vision using glasses or contact lenses. If you’re experiencing symptoms that are unlikely to be resolved with glasses or lenses, you may require our acute/other symptoms investigation service (see price below). Alternatively, you can contact your GP, call 111, or attend A&E. If your GP advises seeing an optician, please note this is not NHS-funded, and our private investigation fee will apply.
We’re happy to explore contact lens options with you. Please note that a consultation fee applies beyond initial discussion. Fittings and aftercare for contact lenses are not covered by the NHS, so private fees listed below are payable. Trial lenses are included with fittings but will only be issued if you can safely insert and remove them.
If you have an NHS optical voucher, you may use it toward contact lenses instead of glasses. However, once redeemed, a new voucher is typically not issued for two years. Any contact lens supply during that time would be privately funded.
